Help Homeless Cleveland
What is our mission?
Help Homeless CLE was founded in the Spring of 2021 by a group of Hathaway Brown students. Under the initiative to raise awareness and resources for homelessness in the Greater Cleveland Area, they have held numerous local fundraisers and are currently partnered with Laura’s Home, a women’s crisis shelter. They believe that Cleveland has a unique history with housing and homelessness, holding the highest rate of poverty at 30.8% (2019) of cities with populations greater than 200,000, despite being located directly next to some of the wealthiest suburbs in the state. Knowing this, they hope to maximize their efforts in an area with extensive inequities and truly make a difference.
